Each year Lucy and Liam go to Royal Family Kids camp - It is an AWESOME experience for them and for 48 other abused/traumatized foster kids. This camp is run all by VOLUNTEERS through a wonderful church and it is a worthwhile "investment" in the futures of some very needing children.
While picking up Lucy and Liam this year we noticed that a lot of children had their belongings in garbage bags We also know that from experience MANY children move from placement to placement with little more than their garbage bags with very few belongings. We would like to change that - We want to provide a sturdy duffle bag for each and every camper going to Royal Family Kids Camp next summer. We would like to gift these bags to the camp director at the annual Christmas party they throw for the campers where each child gets treated "royally" again.
Can you spare a donation to help us bring 75 bags to campers?
The first step is getting the bags...next we will set about filling them with a few items
Remember - It takes a village - BE THAT VILLAGE!!!
