Closing a chapter and moving on....

As most of you know I have been a therapeutic foster parent to two children over the past three years. This week marked a new beginning for them as they moved across country to their adoptive placement. I just got back home last night after spending four days there helping them settle in. It is still very surreal to me and hasn't quite sunk in yet. I will be spending the next few days alone with my husband as we get reaquainted with each other and a mellow, quiet home :)

I want to thank ALL OF YOU, my blog followers for your
understanding  - when I wasn't able to post as much as I would have liked
patience - as things didn't always work out the way I planned
support - because without YOUR words of encouragement and love I couldn't have made it through the emotional roller coaster that is foster parenting. Your thoughts and prayers have been most appreciated!
devotion - without you sticking by me and keeping my blog warm and happy and my list of followers FAT, I would have become discouraged.

So thank you, ALL OF YOU, for not giving up on me and my blog.

As promised I will now be able to really devote some time and energy into my papercrafting. I am going to KICK OFF my ability to do this by participating in a LOVELY BLOG HOP this Saturday!!

Yep, that's right I am asking your for a bit more patience still before I resume :)

There just might be a surprise or two in it for you too ;)

  1. Oh Kymberlee! so glad you are able to move forward and that the fosters found their forever family! I can't wait to see the blog hop.
